Meet Ruth-Evelyn (RE) Pranke, one of the many inspiring children supported by Gillette.
RE and her parents, Corey and Karlyn Pranke, have been recognized by Children’s Miracle Network for their perseverance and dedication. This recognition highlights how the team at Gillette has worked tirelessly to help RE live a full and adventurous life.
At just 10-years-old, RE continues to amaze everyone with her spirit and achievements. Five years ago, RE took her first spin on a two-wheel bike with the help of a custom-made prosthetic device designed by Gillette’s team.
Today, she not only rides her bike with confidence but also loves swimming, clog dancing, and skiing—she’s even conquered the black diamond slopes!
RE’s journey began with a dream to ride a two-wheel bike despite being born without arms. Thanks to Gillette’s care and her own determination, RE’s dream became a reality with a special purple bike and a custom device adorned with a ballerina and a dolphin. Her story is a powerful reminder of the impact of specialized care and the spirit of resilience.
